Trainee Estimator

Schedule: 40-hour week, Monday - Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
Job Description
An overview of the role:
- Learning to create quotes for customers from enquires (in person, over the phone & via email)
- Interpreting Structural Engineers drawings
- Learning to use Zoho Books to record quotes and customer information
- Researching prices from different suppliers
- Liaising with customers & discussing projects
- Working as part of a small, friendly office team
- Pitching in with general day to day office tasks
Who we are looking for:
- Ability to interpret Structural Engineers drawings is preferred however not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills (both over the phone & in person)
- Ability to multitask & manage own workload
- Computer literate & confident in using Microsoft office
- A strong team player
